Practical, personalized hypnotherapy for people who want real change.

I work with clients on anxiety, sleep, confidence, performance, unwanted habits, phobias, smoking cessation, weight loss, and public speaking. Each session is tailored to your goals.

Whether you want to feel calmer, sleep better, perform under pressure, or change a pattern that no longer fits who you want to be, the work is focused, collaborative, and built to last.

A different kind of support

A lot of people come to hypnosis after they have already tried to think their way through the problem.

They have read the books, watched the videos, tried to be more disciplined, and told themselves to just stop overthinking, stop reacting, or stop slipping back into the same patterns.

That approach can help to a point. But many struggles are not just logical. They are learned patterns involving attention, emotion, expectation, and the nervous system.

That is where hypnosis can help you.

The techniques I use are designed to help you access the strengths you already have, so your mind and body can respond differently and change can feel more natural and less forced..

    Canadian Armed Forces Veteran

I am a certified hypnotherapist with the National Guild of Hypnotists, with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Mary’s University and a Master’s degree in Psychology from Carleton University.

I served in the Canadian Armed Forces for more than 26 years, where I coached and mentored individuals and teams to improve performance, resilience, and well-being. My work also included scientific research on resilience, psychological well-being, and sleep.

I have also coached wrestling, taekwondo, and other martial arts for much of my life. Across these different settings, I have developed an approach that helps people create meaningful, lasting change by working with both mindset and habit patterns.

Using hypnosis and mental coaching, I help clients respond differently, build on the strengths they already have, and make change feel more natural and more sustainable.

  • My work is focused on helping people create meaningful, lasting change through personalized hypnosis, mindset training, and performance coaching.

The goal is simple: to help you think more clearly, respond more effectively, and move through life with greater confidence, calm, and purpose.

More Detail if You’re Not Sure This is for You

  • Anxiety and stress

Anxiety is not always dramatic. Sometimes it looks like a racing mind, trouble relaxing, difficulty sleeping, tension in the body, irritability, second-guessing, or the feeling that your system never fully turns off.

In our work together, the goal is not to suppress thoughts or force yourself to be calm. The goal is to change the pattern underneath the reaction, so calm becomes more available and more believable.

This may be a good fit if you:

    • overthink and have trouble switching off

    • feel tense, keyed up, or easily overwhelmed

    • get caught in loops of worry or worst-case thinking

    • want to feel steadier and more in control

  • Sleep problems are frustrating because the harder you try to sleep, the harder it can become.

Hypnotherapy can help by reducing mental overactivation, lowering tension, and building a stronger association between night-time and safety, calm, and recovery.

This work can support people who:

    • have trouble falling asleep

    • wake up through the night and struggle to settle again

    • feel physically tired but mentally alert

    • want a better pre-sleep routine and a calmer nervous system

  • Confidence is not pretending to be someone else. It is the ability to trust yourself more, recover faster, and act with less hesitation.

This work is useful for people who are capable, but still hold back, doubt themselves, or feel smaller than they want to in important moments.

    This may help if you:

    • struggle with self-doubt

    • hesitate to speak up or take action

    • want to feel more grounded in who you are

    • are tired of your inner critic running the show

  • Some habits are not just behaviours. They become linked to stress relief, identity, routine, or emotional regulation. That is why insight alone is often not enough.

Hypnotherapy can help interrupt the old pattern and strengthen a new one, especially when the person is genuinely ready for change.

This may be a good fit if you:

    • are ready to quit smoking

    • keep returning to the same habit despite good intentions

    • want support that works with both mindset and behaviour

    • are looking for a stronger internal shift, not just surface-level rules

  • Long-term change usually has less to do with knowing what to do and more to do with consistency, stress, cravings, self-sabotage, and automatic patterns.

This work can help strengthen the mindset and behavioural side of change, so healthier choices feel more aligned and less like a constant fight.

    This may help if you:

    • eat in response to stress, boredom, or emotion

    • struggle with cravings or nighttime eating

    • start strong and then lose momentum

    • want a healthier relationship with food, discipline, and follow-throughription

  • High performers do not usually need more information. They need access to their best state when it matters.

Whether you are preparing for a race, presentation, interview, competition, difficult conversation, or important event, hypnotherapy can help improve focus, composure, confidence, and mental readiness.

This may be a good fit if you:

    • perform well in practice but tighten up under pressure

    • want to speak more confidently in front of others

    • need better control over nerves and internal chatter

    • want to feel calm, focused, and fully present when it counts

  • Phobias can feel irrational, but the fear response is real. Whether it is flying, heights, or another specific trigger, your mind and body may react as though the situation is more dangerous than it really is.

Hypnotherapy can help by changing the learned pattern underneath that response, so the trigger no longer carries the same intensity. The goal is not to force your way through it, but to help you feel calmer, steadier, and more in control.

This may be a good fit if you:

    • avoid flying, heights, or other specific situations because of fear

    • feel a strong physical reaction to a particular trigger

    • know the fear is bigger than the situation, but still feel stuck

    • want to respond with more calm and confidenceItem description

Whatever it is, optimizing your mindset can make all the difference.
